Join Unexpected Theatre, supported by the MIT School of Science, for a special one-night only performance of the award-winning national-hit play Truth Values: One Girl’s Romp Through M.I.T.’s Male Math Maze. Called “hilarious” by Wired, the play, created by MIT Department of Mathematics alumna Gioia De Cari, is also a serious exploration of the world of elite mathematics and the challenges women face in the STEM environment. Truth Values has been presented at more than 50 venues nationally, including the La Jolla Playhouse, Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York, and Central Square Theater in Cambridge, MA, and was recently nominated for a 2019 IRNE Award.

This is a FREE event for members of the MIT community and their guests, but registration is required. The performance will be followed by a panel discussion with prominent leaders in STEM. This is a general admission event; patrons will be seated on a first come first serve basis. Please arrive early to ensure your spot.
